Raptor

Raptor, Sorrel gelding born 2001. He was at the trainers for 6 months but not alot was done with him. The trainer told us he had started him and he had a few rides on. That was 2 years ago. The boys have been working with him this fall but he still has a ways to go. If you're looking for a horse to put some time on, he might be what you are looking for. Very smooth gait. About 14 - 2 hands.

KC is the paint in the middle, solid face.

Our Herd

Everything's for sale for a price, is what I am always told. So take a look at our herd, if something interests you post a comment or email me. Horses are all at different stages of training. If you want more info just contact me.

Jack

Jack, BIG black gelding, unregistered. I was sent to the auction to get a nurse cow for a bunch of orphan calves out of the feedlot and came home with 2 horses, Jack being one of them. He is 5 yrs, about 16 -3 hands pushing 17. Rode in a feedlot and out on pasture. Jacks quirk is he doesn't like his ears touched, so is a little tricky to bridle, saddles well, halters well because it doesn't bend his ears but the bridle we have to take apart then over his ears without bending them. The boys are still working on this issue. He is not a kids horse but we have had kids ride him in a small pen with supervision.

Peppy

Peppy, Bay Mare, born spring 2007, registered. We purchased her this spring from a friend that had bought her as a yearling. Mitchell took her to a Peter Campbell clinic in colt starting. She has about 5 rides on her. She is about 15 hands but is only 2. Very easy to catch. She has Dash for Cash in her bloodlines.

Cosmo

Cosmo, Chestnut mare, born spring 2004, dam is Gonzo, sire unknown. She is a flashy looking horse. She has 3 months professional training, in 2006 and then was rode for 3 months out on a grazing reserve.
Dan took her to the Peter Campbell clinic in 2008.
She likes to go fast, no time to stop and smell the daisies. She stands about 15-3 hands, again an estimate. She is harder to catch than KC but stands nice to be saddled, etc.

KC

KC, Tobiano paint mare, was born June 2004, dam was DeeDee a registered quarter horse, sire was a registered paint, she is not registered.
KC was untouched until the fall of 2006, when she was halter broke and taken to a trainer 4 weeks later. After 6 weeks of training, the trainer was using her for riding lessons. She had 3 months of training put on her.
In the summer of 2008, Mitchell took her to a Peter Campbell clinic and rode her in the horsemanship class. She is only about about 14 -3 hands, not measured just estimated, so not a large horse. Mitchell was about 6 feet in the picture of him riding her, so you can tell she isn't a really big horse. Nice, sweet, easy to catch. She was the favorite horse at the stables where she was first sent for training, all the kids were very sad to see her go.
