KC, Tobiano paint mare, was born June 2004, dam was DeeDee a registered quarter horse, sire was a registered paint, she is not registered.
KC was untouched until the fall of 2006, when she was halter broke and taken to a trainer 4 weeks later. After 6 weeks of training, the trainer was using her for riding lessons. She had 3 months of training put on her.
In the summer of 2008, Mitchell took her to a Peter Campbell clinic and rode her in the horsemanship class. She is only about about 14 -3 hands, not measured just estimated, so not a large horse. Mitchell was about 6 feet in the picture of him riding her, so you can tell she isn't a really big horse. Nice, sweet, easy to catch. She was the favorite horse at the stables where she was first sent for training, all the kids were very sad to see her go.
